My younger sister dislikes tuna. She prefers seafood. Hence, i have chosen to make a prawn quiche in replace of a tuna quiche.
Ingredients Used
All ingredients used can be purchased from neighborhood supermarkets such as NTUC and Sheng Siong. Ingredients purchased are also within the budget of $10!
I added 2 dessertspoon of chopped spring onion instead of 1 dessertspoon as spring onion is a vegetable that brings along several health benefits. Not only does it add great nutritive and taste value to the dish, it is also rich in vitamins, including Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin K. Also, based on the Healthy Diet Pyramid, we should consume more vegetables!
Prawns are also used as they are a good source of protein and is low-fat. A serving of prawns provides nearly half of the daily requirement of selenium too!
